Beddown is an organisation that primarily helps those who are homeless. We have used Timber Heart Creations for a number of Resin Jewellery Workshops to serve as a way for our vulnerable female guests to instil confidence and foster creativity through making their own unique and beautiful pieces. Laura has ran several sessions for Beddown guests, professionally and with compassion & empathy and the feedback from our guests that have attended has been excellent both praising Laura for her facilitation skills as well as her big heart. Laura and Timber Heart Creations come highly recommended if you are looking for a unique way to help deliver something different to your service users that brings out creativity, confidence and self-esteem in a safe and welcoming environment. This testimonial is to support an amazing program that Laura provides to people in the community. We deliver programs at the inCommunity Women's Club and have had the pleasure of having Laura do several Resin Jewellery Workshops with our clients. During these workshops Laura has always displayed a friendly and patient approach. Laura has left a positive impression and staff have observed Laura as being really personable with our clients and taking the time to work individually with the ladies to better understand them and discuss different designs of jewellery that they would like to create. Staff at inCommunity would highly recommend Laura and her Resin Jewellery Workshops. Chrissy Dodd - Manager, Program Delivery
inCommunity Inc: Community Organisation
Laura has been an integral part of the Y Cannon Hill Community Centre as well as the local community. For example, Laura has provided free spaces at each of her workshops to women who have left domestic violence situations and to women who struggle each week just to pay their rent and buy food. These are community members who could never afford to do something nice for themselves such as attending a jewellery making workshop. These community members who have attended the workshops have said that Laura made them feel very special and appreciated at the workshop and that it has really boosted their confidence and self-esteem. Laura is continuously coming up with ways to give back to the community and how she can support our most vulnerable community members and we will continue to support Laura and Timber Heart Creations in any way that we can. Thank you Laura for hosting our resin session and creating a relaxed environment for us to get creative in! After a busy year it was lovely for our team to be able to spend time together (outside of work!) and wind down before Christmas. You were so calm and easy going, answering our thousands of questions and pointing us in the right direction to complete our artworks. I’d recommend your sessions to anyone interested in trying resin jewellery making for the first time, or for people revisiting the experience. Thanks again! Karly Hadenfeldt, Director

Laura from Timber Heart Creations ran a creative class in resin jewellery making at the HOPE Hub for survivors of domestic and family violence. There was a lot of interest in the workshop and a group of 10 lucky ladies participated in the activity. Some were anxious about whether they would be able to create something that they were happy with but in the end, they were extremely pleased with the results. Laura is an extremely patient and supportive teacher. She took time to help the ladies and explained the process step by step to ensure they understood what to do. After the event one of the ladies made this comment, “Omg how wonderful was this!!! And me a panicked non artist! Thanks, Laura, for a fabulous time' We can highly recommend Laura’s classes to anyone who wants to explore this art form.
